Batam Trip

Visiting Batam (Indonesia) last year 2009 with my fellow friends. It was a wonderful trips and one of memorable trip ever in my life. We'd taken Batam Fast Ferry at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal. You can make reservation by email, call whichever the ways you want.

It has four terminals for going to Batam. Just choose the nearest terminal which is near to your resort or hotel. 


Here are some photos for the scenery and funs at Batam. Spending at there is affordable. The resort is cozy and comfortable. We can stay whole day in the resort without going out. Quite silly har?

The villas. The resort is called Nongsa Point Marina & Resort. Check this website http://www.nongsapointmarina.com/  if you wish to have a stay there. It provides online reservation for the rooms(villas). After you reserved the room, you have to pay some deposit. Once confirmed booking, they will call you asking the approximate time you reach and when you reach the terminal, the resort representative will welcome you and pick you to the resort with mini van.

Our villa located at half-hill of the resort. We need to climb some steps for it. It made us tiring. haha.

This is the yacht harbour from our resort. It provides Yacht services for tourists. I can't remember how much the cost. Just check it at lobby counter and the staff will tell. 

The walking route to Turi Beach Resort where provides Water Sports games to those water sports lovers. 

The Turi Beach Resort's beach. The water sports are gamed here. There is a small pavilion which offers drinks/liquors/beers. You can enjoy some drinks by relaxing at there to enjoy the winds from the sea and the nice weather.

Turi Beach Resort.  All the sea-facing individual resort room are equipped with modern amenities and well spread over the beach front and the hillside.

Turi Beach's swimming pool. It shocks me with its 2.4m depth pool. It's great when you jump inside the pool and without worrying. haha. 

As you can see on this photo, you can relax here with reading, swimming, surfing on the net (it provides wireless braodband service anywhere, if i'm not wrong).

We went for seafood dinner at Golden Prawn 555. We'd hired a van from resort service for about 4 hours.

I have no idea for this creature. 

Anybody wish to eat sharks? They are big and I were wondering how many people sharing to finish one of them?

It wanted to swim across the wall for finding its friend, Sharks! haha. I wondered also does anyone like to taste it? It is cruel to eat it.

Fish of the day! I think we asked the restaurant to served in steam style with soy sauce. 


It was a fantastic short 3 days 2 night trip. But it was the second time i visited there. The first time we can't manage to take photos.


Spend your time there to keep away from hectic life. Don't bring your cellphone or gadgets. Just enjoy the natural sea and relax your mind.
